"Ghostly Golden Love Study: The Idea of a Lamb Without A Heart"
August, 2002, Digital picture with photoshop
This is just a little visual study I did using Ghostly Goldenlove. Aligning him with the sheep and tombstone sort of relates him to the act of gathering or proselytizing followers in order to get them to let him possess them in a form of "subjective homicide". The appearance of the sheep led to the idea in Early Lycanthropic Case Study
Involving Tacofication Of Religious Symbology of "A Lamb Without A Heart," a metaphor which Ghostly Goldenlove uses to express the lack of HiMSeLF inside a particular person, possessing them, which most would interpret mundanely to denote a "lack of love". In the story I decided to not use Ghostly Goldenlove because he was too abstract. I used the more literal human symbol of "James" as a lamb-headed porn store janitor who misinterprets his family's eating of his heart as their lack of love for him and his increasing isolation from the communal aspects of mundane society. Further on in the story I talk about the symbol's truer meaning through ideas of baptism and possession but I never fully hit the target, I don't think. The story is pretty muddled in the end which is okay because I look at everything I do as more of a process of personal illumination than a finished work. The story was written before my metaphorical werewolf transformation and I went back and "tacofied" it later, turning blood into salsa and semen into sour cream.
